Our approach

SeatBorne is designed to be private by default. Executive profiles are not discoverable unless the executive actively opts in and the profile has been approved for publication. Contact details can be shared after an agreed connection, according to the executive’s preferences. Résumé files remain accessible only to the executive and authorised staff.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address and authentication details.
  • Executive profile information you choose to provide, including career history, board experience, expertise, preferences and an optional résumé.
  • Company information: organisation details, team members, assessments, searches and notes.
  • Messages you send through the contact form or within accepted introductions.
  • Basic technical data required to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service, match searches with opted-in profiles, facilitate introductions both parties agree to, review profiles, respond to enquiries and keep the platform secure. We do not sell personal information.

Who can see what

  • Company data is visible only to members of that organisation and to authorised SeatBorne staff.
  • Published, opted-in executive summaries are visible only to signed-in company members.
  • Résumés are stored privately and accessible only to the executive and authorised SeatBorne staff.

Your choices

Executives can turn discovery off, pause a profile, or request deletion at any time. Any user may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information by contacting us.
